Transfer From Lenovo Computer To Wd15000h1cs-00 - Home Edition Too Slow
When I want to transfer pictures from for example my Lenovo computer to the above harddisk it takes forever. 4-5 GB taks 2+ hours through USB 2.0can I do something to change this ?Also when I want to see the pictures I put on the external harddisk and want to see a picture of 5.0 Mb it takes approx. 15-30 sec. to get it from the harddisk.Can anybody help ?

It is because you are using usb 2.0 and you have a limit on speed transfer. It will also slow down if you have anything running in the background.
Check this wiki info explaining the difference between megabits and megabytes.
