My Weider 245 Has Some Slack In The Lower Area Of The Long Cable? [part # 69]

I've been looking for almost an hour and a half now, but i have some slack in the lower region of the long cable on my 245. ive looked at many different diagrams and checked that all of my cables are lined through the pulleys, so i dont know why i have slack. can anyone help please? i borrowed it from a friend, so i hate to return it with slack and no instructions.
