Vtech V Reader Will Not Turn On After New Batteries

If it turned on before you replaced the batteries but won't turn on now, it's likely that the new batteries are bad. Try a different set of batteries and see if they work.

If it didn't work before the new batteries either, try turning the unit off and either removing the AC power cord or the batteries, waiting for a few seconds, then reinstalling the power cable or batteries and try to turn it on again. Make sure the cartridge is firmly seated before turning it on.

If the Reader still won't turn on, you can contact VTech tech support at 1-800-521-2010.
