Innotab 2 Will Not Connect To Computer Windows 8

Unplug and reattach the USB cable at both ends -- the end that connects to the Innotab, and the end that connects to your computer. If your computer has more than one USB port, try a different port. If you are connecting your InnoTab 2 to a USB hub, you will need to disconnect it from the hub and connect it straight to your computer (per the troubleshooting section in the user manual).
If the InnoTab 2 works on other computers but not on a Windows 8 computer, it may very well need a firmware upgrade. You can find a tutorial on how to upgrade the firmware at the link below, but it will have to be done on a computer that the InnoTab 2 works with (not the Windows 8 PC):
