Is A Person Calling Me From Another Non Vonage Phone Charged For Long Distance

I live in the Omaha NE metro area. A friend of mine, also in the Omaha metro area, who has called me before when we both had non Vonage land lines was not charged for a long distance call. Now that I have Vonage service She was told that she had to dial a 1 before my number. Does this mean that she will be charged for a long distance call when dialing my number.Ken Fleming Vonage

It really depends on what kind of phone plan they have. She would have to ask her provider about that.
