Vizio Vbr220 Won't Play Blu Ray

First make sure that the disk is not damaged, and that the laser lense does not need cleaned.
If the disk you are attempting to play is a new title, try a title released in 2010.
If it plays the older title, but not the newer title, the cause is most likely cause by new blu-ray standards that your player does not understand, which requires upgrading the firmware. Unfortionatly Vizio has dropped all firmware support for this model.
If the player does not read any blu-ray disks, it is likely a dirty laser, or a weak laser.
If you use a cleaning disk, it may help, and if not, the player will have to be disasembled and cleaned by an electronics tech.
