How Can I Fix The Television Problem?
The television will not work properly. When I plug it up, the blue power light comes on, but the tv just flashes of and on, unable to control with remote. Only powers down when I unplug it.

This is a workaround, not a fix; using the remote hit the power button. The viewsonic light goes from red to blue. Start spamming the Menu or Input button repeatedly and keep going even when the birds appear on screen. You'll end up getting it to go. Once you get to the Menu or Input screen you can stop. It lasts anywhere from a few minutes, to a day.
