Why Am I Getting A Bill Notice Via Text On My Prepaid Cell Phone When I Have A B

I have a current balance on my prepaid cell phone of $21.85. Why am I getting text messages telling my I have to pay a bill or add more miniutes before 2/16/12 or my account will be de-activated?

Typically verizon wireless prepaid refills have time limits in addition to the balance. For example, a $15 refill expires if not used within 30 days while $100 refill is good for 12 months. If you don't refill by the limit you will lose the balance however if you refill before the balance expires, it will roll over.
