Do Children (14 And 12) Need Id If Traveling With Their Parents

I would recommend you always carry their Birth Certificates and Social Security cards with you when traveling.  United does not list an ID requirement on their website but I would highly recommend you obtain a Photo Id for your children or a US Passport which would be valid for travel another 10 years.
