Uniden Voyager Battery Charge Problem
I can't get the battery to take a charge. What is the 3rd post on the battery for? Does it have a purpose during charging?

Unknown what the 3rd post is used for. I have never personally worked on this model radio.
It appears to be a lithium ion battery. That being the case, if it no longer holds a charge the battery has likely been cooked off and will require replacement.
