Remove Battery Door By Pressing Tab At Bottom Of Compartment Door? Where Is It?

The belt clip has to be removed first. Hold the unit with the side with "Uniden" on it away from you. At the top of the belt clip there is a piece of plastic: pull that towards you and pull the belt clip up to remove it. Then it's just like a regular battery compartment: you'll see some dimples: point the antenna towards you, push down on the dimples and, at the same time, push away from you. This will remove the battery compartment cover.
