Speaker Phone Options Problems

When I use the speaker phone option on any of the 4 Uniden Direct 6.0 phones, volume level fades in & out, I have tired to adjust the volume level, but it hasn't done any good, one of the reasons I purchase this type of phone, was the speaker phone option, I Need a hands free phone, I am very unhappy with this product.maybe there has been a recall, or a simple way to fix this problem, phoes were purchased at BJ's about a year ago, Hope You Can Help Me get this feature to work correctly
