Which Wires Connect To Each Other?

I snagged the wire, realised it was broken somewhere along the line before isolating it in the small black linkage box on the cable between the audio control box and the usb connection to the xbox. I split the wire, in preparation of soldering, but cam across two wires on one side, and five on the other. How do they link up correctly? Thanks.
