If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must refer to the agreement you signed with the owner/manager. If you're given a refund for a rental that you paid for via TripAdvisor, your refund will be credited to your bank account.
Most owners require a deposit to hold your reservation. Typically you will forfeit your deposit if you cancel a reservation, unless otherwise specified in the rental agreement.
