To offically block text messages from reaching your Tracfone is to call Tracfone Customer Care at 1-800-867-7183 and tell them you want to disable text messaging on your phone. They will do so and should be able to walk you through the steps of whatever else you need to do. If you don't feel like messing with calling them, the other solution is simply to not open messages sent to your phone and just delete them. You shouldn't be charged then.
