Not Turning On

The standby light is on while plugged into the wall but projector will not turn on. Why is that?

Your Toshiba TDP-T9 does not turn on because there might be no sufficient power supply for the device. I believe that this is related to a failed power cable/cord. However, you can still check the power cable if it is properly connected. You can purchase a power cable for this device at Amazon.com. These are the product links:
