Toshiba Satellite L505-s5971
Will updates harm my old Toshia Satellite laptop L505-S5971 ? I, at the time, am unable to replace it and I really enjoy.using this laptop. I have try to find out on the Toshiba website but it is most interested in tech support for the newer laptops. Thank you for you time, Cat Butler

If you are talking about operating system (Windows) updates, they should not harm your computer. In some instances, if you are using older applications or older hardware, a newer update might conflict with the older device/software. In those cases, it's best to check with the manufacturer or developer first. But in most cases, applying newer Windows updates will only keep your computer running well and more protected.
