It could be a problem with the disk or a problem with the drive. Try that same disk on another computer, and try a different disk in this computer's A: drive. That will help you to isolate the problem.

If the disk works on another computer, try blowing compressed air into your A: drive and visually checking it to make sure there's no dirt or debris in the drive. If it's a removable drive (such as an optical drive) disconnect and reconnect the drive (with the computer off).

If the disk doesn't work on another computer either, try to format the disk (if it doesn't have data on it that you can't lose).

it must be a problem of disc drive. If your computer runs on windows then go to start open run... Search for devmgmt.msc and after opening the discmgmt their you will find disc drive.

Unistall that drive and re install the drive.
