How To Display On The Fromt Screen The Clock Instead Of The Input Line (l1)

Hi , I bought today a Toshiba DVR620KC (combo VCR and DVD) and I noticed that I'm not able to display jut the clock on the front display. It is just showing L1 (input line).I'm able to see the clock only if I push the setup menu. If I exited the setuo menu it displayed again L1. Is any possibility to have displayed the clock instead of the input line (L1)? I checked the owner's manual but not able to find such an information. Thx for your help. BR/Mihai
