My 4th Generation Computer & Windows 8
my windows 8 fails to sign in and hung..

I would suggest you to perform a Startup Repair from Windows Recovery Environment and then check if this fixes the issue.
Follow the steps mentioned below to perform Startup Repair:
- Insert the installation DVD or USB and boot Windows 8 from it.
- Select "Troubleshooting" from the first Window and then select "Advanced Options".
- Then select "Automatic Repair" from "Advanced options" window.
