Darn Thing Shuts Off Automatically Every 30 Minutes Or So When Playing Dvd, Why?

Based on your description, this might be related to overheating of your Toshiba BDK33. To fix this issue, please place the device to a cool and well ventilated area. If this solution didn't resolve the problem, there might be failed hardware parts inside which require repair from technicians.
