Remote Control Won't Turn On Tv
For some reason the remote control that came with the TV won't turn it on. We've had the original batteries in it and switched them with another device and the device worked. Just picked up a new remote control today same model #CT90302 and it did not work. Maybe its the batteries maybe the infrared sensor. Please help.

Based on your description, the infrared cannot communicated with the receiver of your Toshiba 22AV500U TV. The best thing you can do is wipe the infrared glass of both the remote and TV and try the remote again. If this is not the problem, it might be on the hardware part of the remote or TV. Please read the user's manual to learn how you can properly setup your remote and TV.
