Alarms Stopped Working

Kitten chewed power cord (really!). Fixed cord even tried new AC adapter. Everything works fine EXCEPT neither alarm goes off. What's wrong? How to fix?

The chewed power cord might have shorted the circuits within the system. Get this checked by an electrician.
