Free $1,000 Target Giftcard
I received a msg on cell phone that I won a $1,000 giftcard from Target. When I tried to claim it, Mcafee responded that site is dangerous. Why do they considered it dangerous?

It's hard to know exactly why without more information than you supplied. Sites can infect your computer just upon your landing on them. If this as it certainly appears is a scam, there's no reason for you to bother with it. It's easy to check: Call Target at 800 591-3869.
