Tew 736re Ssid Wireless

How do you manually input an SSID from an AP that is not broadcasting name? All I can do is click on scan button but it doesn't show in list. It doesn't allow me to enter the SSID. This is preventing me from connecting to network. Also how do you know when WPS has configured? I see no difference in lights. Thank You. Ken
