Port Forwarding

im on tmodem page but dont know how to do port forwarding. i have to forward port 9000 85 18004. can you assist frederick

Your question has insufficient information about your LAN configuration. Port forwarding allows remote computers on the internet to connect to a specific computer or service (like game, web, ftp server) within a private local area network. If internet access is obtained through a DSL or cable modem you have to configure port forwarding on these device (not on your computer). If you don't use such device and IP of your computer is in private range (10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x, or 172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255) you have to ask your ISP to forward ports. If your IP is in public range port forwarding is used if your software needs some port but it is blocked your ISP. In this case you have to use proxy software and change port in external link to your service.

It isn't done in your network card. It is done by your ISP. Call the people that give you internet service and they will talk you through it. It is done on THEIR web page.
