Legacy Won't Rev Over 2000 Revs After Jump Start
2004 Legacy Turbo was started using jumper leads now will not rev past 2000 revs

Problem is now resolved. Apparently when jump starting with jumper leads it is important to let the engine of the 'host' car idle with the jumper leads connected for 10 to 15 minutes before attempting to start the 'subject' vehicle.
Reason is that if the car is started with the battery below 6 volts of chanrge then the ECU trips into safe mode which limits revs to below 2000. Service technician was able to reboot the ECU and the engine ran as normal.
