I Am Changing The Brake Pads On My Subaru Loyale 1991

can someone please tell me how to remove and compress the caliper on this vehicle 1991 ubaru loyale front brakes ther is only one bolt at bottom of caliper not one at top and I cant get the caliper compressed enough for new brake pads any ideas ?
