My Ht 101 Chain Spins When Running But When I Try And Cut The Chain Slips. It Wa

the 101 was cutting fine then all of a sudden the chain started slipping. Can anyone help me

Remove the entire cutting head from the pole and stick a screwdriver in the end and try to turn it to see what happens. if you can turn it, but the chain still won't move, obviously you have stripped gears. if you rotate the screwdriver and the mechanism performs correctly, reinstall it, and remove the shaft from the powerhead and try to turn the clutch drum with the screwdriver, as well as spin the pole shaft with some pliers. You should now be able to determine where the problem is. Once you do, post a response and I will help narrow down the issue and get you a part number(s).
