There's no indication with your question of the model of your Bravia Tv--so I can't give you the specific help that I'd like; but I hope this will suffice. Your problem is caused by the wrong aspect ratio on your TV screen. The manual for your TV should tell you how to adjust that, to "full" or "normal." If you don't have the manual, you may be able to find it at https://www.manualslib.com/ or, if not by a Web search for "manual" followed by the model number.
