Model Rdr-vx560 Remote Needs A Reset.

My Sony remote no longer controls the RDR-VX560 DVD/VCR player/recorder. How do I reset the remote or recorder?

You can verify that the remote is transmitting by pointing it at your camera on your cell phone. You will see the LED light up if it's working.

Hi. Thanks for the tip! I will use that in the future if I ever have the problem again.

The good news is that Sony gave me a fix. They told me to remove both batteries from the remote and while they were removed to click EACH remote button twice then replace the batteries. It worked.
