Sony Docking Station Model Rdp-xf300ip
Had worked well for 1 1/2 years. Now it will not turn on. Not getting power to unit

The power does not turn on when the AC adaptor is connected. :320; Make sure the AC adaptor is connected to the wall outlet firmly. The rechargeable battery is depleted. :320; Connect the AC adaptor to charge the battery. There is no sound. :320; Adjust VOLUME +/W22; (VOL +/W22; on the remote). Noise is heard. :320; Ensure that the unit is not near in-use portable phones, etc. The power will not turn on when the AC adaptor is disconnected. The Power Off Hold function may be set. In this case, cancel the Power Off Hold function. (See "Power Off Hold function.") The rechargeable battery may be depleted. In this case, connect the AC adaptor to charge the battery. (See "To use the AC adaptor.") "ERROR" appears in the display and the unit turns off automatically. If this symptom occurs frequently, consult your nearest Sony dealer
