'memory Full' Message In Error

I recorded up to the limit and got a "MEMORY FULL" error.  Then I deleted all tracks, and am still unable to record -- same message, "MEMORY FULL," even with no content in any folder.  What should I do?

Press and hold the MENU button, then scroll up to FORMAT. Press PLAY/ENTER. On the Format screen, select "yes" to format "built-in." This should reset the memory to allow recording.
