Cell Phone Hook Up

how to I play music from my phone on my system if the usb port keeps saying not device detected? Please help

Hello, according to this help article, you may not be able to connect your phone directly to the sound system. For an iPhone, you will need to connect to a Docking Station if you are using USB. (You could also connect using the audio cable instead.)

There are also other limitations on the USB devices allowed that may be preventing your phone from working, if it's not an iPhone. You can see what these limitations are on page 16 of the user manual.
