Power Went Off Last Night And It Is Back On, But The Sony Tv Will Not Work At Al
Does the Sony KVL-23HR1 have a reset button or a fuse that I can replace. The power went off last night and when it came back on, the TV would not work with the remote or by the controls on the set itself. Could the power surge have cause a problem? The TV will not come on at all.

generally, there are two possible scenarios, the power outage first went slowly and caused a brown-out or it had a power spike (sudden over-voltage). Both of these will damage parts on the power supply board (G board). The brown out is usually harder on the board and this causes the supply to work really to keep the output voltages stable destroying out put chips. The power board is usually replaced:
