Grand Wega Kf 42we610 Thermal Fuse

I am trying to replace the thermal fuse, but am having difficulty. I have disassembled the unit, pulled out the optical block, but am not sure what to do now. The part I was told I needed from sony looks like a metal button, with two plug type prongs but I do not see anything lke that on the unit. I DO see what others have called the thermal fuse, which is two small wires with a black connector that runs atop the block to the left of the lamp (looking at it from the back). Can anyone help me complete the repair? Thanks in advance!! Heather
