Sony Kdf 60xs955 Tv Still Wont Come On After Bulb Replacement

In the beginning, the tv quit working. We figured it was the bulb, as we've had that happen on a different set & that fixed it. So we replaced the bulb on the tv, and the bulb we took out was blown, but the tv wont give a picture w/the new bulb. The tv fan will kick on & act like its going to come on & then it clicks back off within seconds & the red light stars flashing again. We've checked to see if some switch or lever wasnt connected when we replaced the bulb, but everything is as it should be. We thought maybe the new bulb was bad, even though it looked good. We replaced it, but still the same thing happens. Is there a fuse or something that could have gone bad too? This is such a nice tv, I've got to fix it. Cant afford to replace it. Please help!
