How To Replace Lcd Lamp On Sony Tv Serial Number 50 Kdf50we655

- Turn off the power on the main unit. Wait several minutes and then plug in the power cord. (The cooling fan will continue to blow for about two minutes after turning the power off.)
- Wait at least 30 minutes after unplugging the power cord to allow the lamp to cool down before replacing it. Take the new lamp out of the box.
- Loosen the screws on the rear side panel.
- Remove the front panel.
- Pull out the lamp. Loosen the screw on the lamp cover with a coin or similar object. Remove the cover. Loosen the two screws that hold the lamp, then pull out the lamp.
- Place the new lamp with two screws. Place back the lamp cover, then tighten the screw.
- Reattach the front panel securely.
- Tightly screw the side panel in its place.
