Cannot Download Files From Device.

When I connect my sony icd-p28 to my computer, windows 7 does not recognize the device. I am trying to download audio files from the device to my computer. I installed the device software using the installation cd and upgraded the software to version 2.27 iof the digital voice editor. From inside digital voice editor, the message is that the software cannot commuicate with the device. When I connect the device to my computer, windows 7 messages says that it cannot find the proper device driver. What should I do?

Inresearching your problem, I have found several people with the same problem. i didn't find a solution per se, but did find a phone number for Sony Support that should be able to fix your problem. It's 239-768-7547 .
