Reason: Either the power amp IC of one of the channels short OR speaker wire short.
Solution: remove the speakers and test the unit. If the error message exits’s the go to the nearest mobile service shop. Tell the technician to open case. There may be 5 or 6 Audio power amp (Surface mount) IC's Under a Big Heat Zink. Unscrew the heat Zink. Tell the technician to check which channel is short by his multimeter. Tell Him to remove the AMP IC corresponding to the short circuit. Reassemble the Unit. The system will work except the short channel.

• After checking the above items and fixing any problems, turn on the system. If the cause of the problem cannot be found even after checking all the above items, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
