When Recording In Dark Areas There's No Light. Is There A Nightshot Option?

Hello. I have a Sony Handycam dcr-sx40. When I record in dark places recording is too dark and you can't see anything. Does this camcorder have a nightshot? How can I make it brighter when recording in dark areas ? Thank you.

The white balance option should be set to automatic

So in night it will automatically shows night shot neon light firewroks
