No Sound To Cdx-gt565up In A 2002 Audi Tt

My radio was working fine when i put my car in the shop to habe waterpump and head gasket worked on. Now my car is out of the shop and now my radio has no sound.Ive tryed to adjust all the settings to fader/balance etc and still nothing.The mechanic had my back seat out for fuel work but other than that he claims he hasnt touch anything relating to the radio. I looked under my back seat and none of the wires running to the back have to do with the interior radio speakers..they were wires for a sub but those were unhooked when the sub was removed and tje interior speakers were playing just fine. Please help! Thanks

Sony suggests these two possibilities:

The ATT function is activated.
The position of the fader control "FADER" is no longer set for a 2-speaker system.
