Viewfinder Not Working Sony Hi8 Ccd Tr780e

HI MY SONY CCD TR780E IS HAVING SOME PROBLEMS WITH VIEW FINDER IT COMES UP BLANK... WHAT SHOULD I DO I CONNECTED IT TO MY TELEVISION IT WORKS BUT NO MENU PLEASE GIVE ME ADVISE?! A FEW MONTH AGO ABOUT FEBRUARY IT WAS WORKING PERFECTLY BUT NOW ITS NOT PLEASE TELL ME VERY QUICKLY!!!??? THANK YOU
