Singer 8500q - How To Turn Off The Sound?

How do I turn off the beeping sound in the 8500Q? There is a small beep when you turn dials or press buttons.

Is this the same sound as the warning beep (for example; when the bobbin is low on thread, when the top-thread isn't feeding properly, or when you didn't lower the presser foot)? Unless it's noticeably quieter, it's built into the machine and can't be changed. If it's just as loud, then the beep does not belong, and requires professional service to fix it.
