Error 5.

turning machine off is not getting rid of it. straight stitching is fine, but as soon as I tree to free motion I keep,getting this errot

Go to page 68 to a performance check list. This is a motor sensor issue and this really needs to be checked out by a local sewing machine shop. When the sensor fails, it's out of calibration & you will get that E-5 error. Repair shops have the equipment to make the repair and shouldn't be very expensive.
