My Singer Patchwork Gives Me The C4 Code.
It stopped sewing giving me the C4 code and there was nothing wrong with the bobbin. It did this several times and then just stopped all together! I got this machine 12.06.19 and have rarely used it. Now when I press on the footfeet, it makes a noise but nothing moves. My husband has cleaned it etc and cannot figure out why it is not working. Very frustrating when it is so new and has hardly been used.

The C4 error message is when the thread is tangled with the bobbin case. Remove the bobbin and clean out the area. If that doesn't fix it, then you probably need to remove the bobbin case itself.
