Singer 5500/5400 Instructions For Problem
My Singer has locked up while sewing. I cannot get the needle to go up/nor down. I cut the upper thread, and this did not make any change. How do I get the needle up from being half way down to the bobbin without breaking the machine. I will not budge either way. It was sewing great for a good period of time before this happened. Any help will be so much appreciated! I've always been able to move the needle either up or down and then rethread. ?? Pamela Thank you!!
