Trim Kit Rk-93s30 Installation Question

Installation of the trim kit ductwork was going well for this microwave, until I got to the cord box installation.  You are instructed to remove the existing screw from the lower left corner in the back of the microwave, position the cord box, then reinstall the previously removed screw to secure the cord box in place. However, the lower left and right screw is some type of Torx security screw, presumably to prevent the cover from being removed from the microwave.  There are no other screws in the vicinity, so I'm not mis-positioned, or anything.  Anyone run into this?

This screw is known as a "security torx".  I found a set of bits at Ace Hardware for $14.  Typically these screws are used to discourage customers from attempting to disassemble the product.  Why it was placed where it was meant to be removed in  the field I can't explain.  Telephone Customer Support at Sharp was absolutely no help when I tried to determine the purpose of this "cord box".  They claimed they do not support trim kits and referred me to a local service provider who was also not helpful.
