Just Took My Sharp Carousel Mw Out Of Box, Does Not Heat The Food After 5min.

I just purchased a Sharp Carousel Microwave 1.3 CU. FT/ 1000 Watts. I waa excited to start using it. I put the food in, set it for 5 minutes on Hi. It ran, but when I took my food out it was still cold. I didn't want to take it back if I didn't have to, as the store is 30 miles from my home.
