Craftsman Garage Door Opener Model 139.53990d Wall Motion Detect Help Needed

I have a Craftsman garage door opener. The wall mounted motion detecting control console is not working... I want to take it off the wall to check it to see if it needs batteries? Or is it wired in and needs to be replaced? I don't want to break it trying to take it off the wall... What do I do to remove it fromthe wall? pry it off? I've tried sliding it up a hair if it was mounted over a screw/slot type fix? What can I do?
